南航开通广州至越南货运航线
(通讯员 张秀文 王冉 陈少莹)9月24日凌晨00:17,南航广州-胡志明-河内-广州货运航线首航航班顺利从广州起飞,并于当天中午11:05从河内返回广州。这是南航响应“一带一路”战略,增开的又一条与“一带一路”沿线相关的国际货运航线;也是南航借力广东自贸区发展,推进广州货运枢纽建设的又一次运力投入和航线网络拓展。
据介绍,该航线采用B747-400F货机执飞,飞机号为B2461,每周2班,分别在每周四、周六凌晨00:10从广州始发,去程航班号为CZ447,回程航班号为CZ448。这是南航开通的第一条东南亚全货运航线。广州-胡志明-河内-广州货运航线目前每周可提供约200吨货机运力,加上南航客机腹舱运力,每周至越南的货运运力可达到270多吨,能够很好地满足市场需求。
响应“一带一路”战略 拓宽中越空中物流通道
越南是“一带一路”的重要参与国。9月18日,越南副总理阮春福在中国-东盟博览会开幕式上就表示,越南将积极参与“一带一路”建设。航空货运业内人士分析,河内、胡志明分别是越南的首都和第一大城市,广州-胡志明-河内-广州货运航线的开通有利于发挥南航广州枢纽的航线网络优势,进一步拓宽“中越经济走廊”的货运大通道,并助力越南货物快速转运至欧美澳日本等地区。
据了解,目前中国已连续11年成为越南最大的贸易伙伴国,也是其仅次于美国的第二大出口市场,其中广州是其在中国进口工业原料的重要港口;同时,近两年,越南超越新加坡成为中国在东盟的第二大贸易伙伴,位居马来西亚之后。“越南的制造业以来料加工为主,这条新航线的去程货源主要是国内的工业原料。”南航货运部相关负责人介绍。他表示,广州-胡志明-河内-广州货运航线目前每周可提供约200吨货机运力,加上南航客机腹舱运力,每周至越南的货运运力可达到270多吨,能够很好地满足市场需求。
据悉,随着中国劳动力成本的上涨,长三角、珠三角地区的劳动密集型代工企业大规模转移至越南、柬埔寨等东南亚地区,如三星、诺基亚、微软等国际知名企业已在越南投资设厂,因此当地的电子产品、服装鞋帽等货物出口运输的需求日益旺盛。据越南海关总局网站信息,2014年越南出口至欧盟、美国的鞋类同比分别增长了23%和26.9%,出口的纺织品同比分别增长了22.8%和14.2%。“利用广州枢纽密集的国际航线网络,南航将把越南当地货物从河内、胡志明经广州快速转运出去。”上述负责人表示。
他介绍,新货运航线从河内飞回广州的航班时间是中午近11点,越南货物既可衔接上当天晚上出发的南航飞欧美货机航班快速中转去巴黎、伦敦、阿姆斯特丹、维也纳、法兰克福、洛杉矶等欧美主要城市,又可通过南航密集的客机航线网络转运至欧美澳非洲各主要城市,在运输时效上具有极大优势。
借力广东自贸区发展 加快推进广州货运枢纽建设
自今年4月21日广东自贸区挂牌,南航着眼于其中带来的长远发展机遇,加快推进广州货运枢纽建设,努力为珠三角及华南地区的货物贸易和物流运输提供更便捷的服务。
今年以来,南航将新接收的4架B77F货机中的3架投放在广州运营,此前已经增开了广州-伦敦-法兰克福-广州、广州-巴黎-维也纳-广州两条货运航线,重点打造中-欧、中-美空中货运走廊。
南航此次开通广州-胡志明-河内-广州货运航线,弥补在短航线上的欠缺,实现了欧美长航线和东南亚短航线的搭配,进一步优化了货机航线网络。南航从广州出发的货机航线由此增至7条,每周共运营19个货班,将中国至欧美航空货运服务由点到点转向了点到面、面到面发展。“我们致力于在中国至欧美空运市场上,成为客户的首选品牌。”上述负责人表示。
据介绍,南航在10月份还计划开通广州-芝加哥-天津-广州货运航线,届时南航从广州出发的货机航线将增至8条,每周共运营货班达到21个。
南航货机机队共有14架货机,包括12架B77F货机和2架B747-400F货机。其中2架B747-400F货机是在浦东机场封存近两年后重新启用,首先投入这条新货运航线运营。“从9月份开始就进入今年的航空货运旺季,重启B747货机将为南航提供更充足的运力。”南航上述负责人介绍。
据介绍,B747-400F货机是拥有四发(动机)的远程宽体运输机,也是业内唯一同时拥有侧壁货舱门和机头舱门的货机,特别是在承运超长超高货物、活体动物等特殊货物上具有独特的优势。

南航开通广州-芝加哥-天津-广州全货运航线
(通讯员 刘艺 张诗慧 陈龑 孙木钊 符芳)10月22日,南航正式开通广州-安克雷奇-芝加哥-天津-广州货运航线,首航的CZ475航班于当日凌晨06:52满载96吨货物顺利从广州白云机场起飞。南航瞄准中美经贸发展机遇,进一步增强在中美货运航线的运力布局,除了增开这条新航线,还将广州至洛杉矶、浦东至洛杉矶及芝加哥货运航线都增加了班次。
以上新航线采用世界最先进的波音777-200F货机执飞,初期每周2班,计划分别在每周四、周日凌晨04:00从广州始发,于当晚20:40抵达芝加哥(以上均为北京时间),去程航班号为CZ475,回程航班号为CZ476。
瞄准中美经贸发展机遇 增强美线运力布局
芝加哥是南航在海外开通的第一个货机航点,作为美国中东部重要工业城市,它被称为“美国的动脉”,是美国最大的空运中心和铁路枢纽。通过芝加哥机场的枢纽作用,可有效满足货物输送至底特律等五大湖地区、纽约等美国东部地区、多伦多等加拿大中东部地区、亚特兰大迈阿密等美国东南地区以及墨西哥城等南美洲地区的需求。
新航线开通后,南航共运营浦东-安克雷奇-芝加哥-浦东、浦东-洛杉矶-浦东、浦东-洛杉矶-天津-浦东、广州-安克雷奇-洛杉矶-广州和广州-安克雷奇-芝加哥-天津-广州等5条中美货运航线,其中广州至洛杉矶航线增至每周四班,浦东至洛杉矶以及浦东至芝加哥航线分别增至每周六班。
由此,南航在广州、上海两个货运枢纽运营的中美航线货机航班达到每周18班,加上每周25班客机腹舱的舱位,每周可提供中美之间的货运运力单程超过2000吨。通过与地面代理、卡车公司、外航的合作,南航构建了以芝加哥、洛杉矶、旧金山、纽约四个通航点为中心的交叉轮辐式转运网络,在中美货运航线上推出了货邮“当日达”、“次日达”服务,可将货物快速转运至美洲的50多个城市。同时,还提供整板提货、整板转运、送货上门、整车快运等增值服务,以及危险品、鲜活温控产品等特殊货物提供个性化运输解决方案。
看好天津区位优势 加大运力投放
天津处于环渤海的地理中心,位于华北、东北和华东三大区域的接合处,也是京津冀都市圈的核心区、东北亚的重要通道,具有较强的对内吸引和向外输出的双重有力条件。显著的区位优势使天津滨海国际机场具备极强的客货集散和辐射能力。
正是看到这一点,南航在原有洛杉矶-天津-浦东航线的基础上,再次增加芝加哥航线回程经停天津,将每周在天津可提供的货机运力增至125吨,进一步拓宽天津与北美地区的货运通道。

推进空港物流发展座谈会
(通讯员:薛佳 刘绵君 陈少莹 刘艺 程成)2015年10月30日下午,中国南方航空公司货运部与广州白云机场海关在南航广州货站联合举办了以“关企携手,便利通关,推进空港物流发展”为主题的座谈会。珠三角地区优秀货运销售代理、国内知名电商、厂商共36家企业代表受邀参加了会议。
会上,广州白云机场海关对最新通关政策、通关便利措施进行了宣讲,南航货运部重点推介了广州枢纽的航线网络以及跨境物流服务。两方与企业代表对如何推进广州空港物流发展进行了深入交流。
打造便利通关环境 提速广州空港物流
近年来,广州白云机场海关着力打造便利通关环境,其中推出的空运进口货物“提前申报、货到验放”、出口货物“提前申报、运抵验放”通关模式,大大提高了广州口岸货物通关、验放效率。广州白云机场海关表示,预计在2016年上半年,将把运抵模式进一步前移至海关监管场所的入卡口,在广州口岸实施统一的“出口提前申报、卡口快速分流”通关模式。
在当天的座谈会上,广州白云机场海关给各企业带来了诸多利好消息。如对符合条件的纳税义务人在一定时期内多次进出口货物应纳税款实施汇总征税,实现“先放后税,汇总缴税”,改变了传统的“逐票审核、先税后放”作业模式;属地管理,简化申请手续,总担保账户“一地备案、多地使用”,总担保账户可在企业申请开展汇总征税业务的多个直属海关范围内通用;担保额度自动扣减和恢复、循环使用;报关单修改和撤销无纸化。这些措施都有力促进企业减少运营成本,提高通关效率。
同时,广州白云机场海关想企业之所想,积极推出更为便利的通关服务措施,包括实施空运进口货物分拨7×24小时电子审核,实现进口货物全天候便捷分拨流转;对纳税大户企业和高级认证企业进口货物的查验时间,从原来的17:00截止,延长至24:00截止;对航材、药品、鲜活等商品实施差别化分类审价作业,进一步提高通关时效,打造空港冷链物流快速通道。上述通关政策和便利措施将吸引更多国际货物经广州进出口和中转。
南航打造广州货运枢纽 网络覆盖欧美澳日韩东南亚
广州白云机场是中国第三大门户机场,货邮运输总吞吐量位居全国第三、珠三角地区第一。作为广州白云机场的基地航空公司,南航致力于打造广州货运枢纽,持续加大在广州的运力投入,积极扩展航线网络。目前,南航在广州共运营8条货机航线,每周运营22个货机航班,货机网络在国内连接重庆、天津,在国外通达阿姆斯特丹、法兰克福、维也纳、巴黎、伦敦、洛杉矶、芝加哥、胡志明、河内等9个国际航点。加上客机腹舱,南航在广州枢纽的货运网络可以直接通达澳洲、欧洲、北美洲、日韩、东南亚等近50个主要城市。今年1-9月,南航在广州的国际货邮吞吐量同比增长了约17.6%。
南航货运部在座谈会上介绍,南航还计划于12月16日开通广州-武汉-罗马和广州-基督城客机航线,并于12月上旬加密澳洲航线班次,这将为珠三角和华南地区的物流提供更充裕的运力和更优质的服务。
同时,南航还提供整板提货、整板转运、送货上门、整车快运等增值服务,以及危险品、鲜活温控产品等特殊货物提供个性化运输解决方案。
推出“南航跨境”服务 构建“阳光通关”平台
面对飞速发展的跨境电商市场,南航借力广州白云机场海关推出的一系列跨境电商进口通关改革服务措施,立足广州枢纽,整合供应链上下游资源,以服务中小微电商和物流商为重点,于今年初推出了“一单到底、阳光通关”的“南航跨境”物流产品。
目前,“南航跨境”已经覆盖新西兰、澳洲、美国、日本、德国、加拿大和香港等全球10个国家、15个主要城市,业务量不断增长。承运的货物主要有澳新地区的龙虾、果蔬、奶粉、鲜奶,美国的果蔬、电子产品,日本的海淘日用品、药品、小电器,德国的电子产品,加拿大的樱桃、海鲜、海淘电商货等等。
同时,依托“南航跨境”,南航还推出了“南航跨境购”电商平台,于今年9月1日正式上线在内部员工中进行测试,待完善之后将向社会推广。
南航货运部在座谈会上介绍,目前大范围的进口贸易端口正向碎片化、个人进口等跨境电商的大趋势取代,更多消费者相信跨境O20的模式并开始尝试海淘,但选择阳光、合法的跨境物流渠道非常重要,同时未来跨境物流的便利性和直邮方式将成为跨境电商主流,下一步南航货运将继续加大对“南航跨境”的推广力度,致力于为跨境包裹运输提供全链条整合性物流解决方案。

建立航线网络战略合作伙伴关系
(通讯员 林育华)9月15日,南航货运和法荷马丁航货运签订了货运战略合作谅解备忘录。这一新举措将进一步深化双方合作
关系:利用各自优势为双方客户提供完善的空运网络。在亚太地区,南航占有显著的网络优势;而在欧洲、非洲和跨大西洋航线上,法荷马丁航是最大
的运营公司之一。
根据双方签署的合作协议,双方将在中欧航线上互相开放客、货机运力,同时通过各自枢纽,向对方提供运输至独有目的点的
四通八达的联运网络。法荷航将借助南航在亚太的网络优势,通过广州中转将货物运至澳大利亚和越南,包括悉尼、墨尔本、河内及胡志明等在内的主
要城市;南航则通过法荷马丁航阿姆、巴黎两大枢纽,利用法荷航的宽体航班运力将货物转运至亚特兰大、迈阿密、圣保罗、布宜诺斯艾利斯及拉各斯
等目的地。
合作初期,双方将在各自枢纽优化转运流程、提高转运效率,旨在向客户提供顺畅、无缝隙的运输体验。

China Southern Airlines Becomes Active Member of Cargo 2000

On May 15th 2014, Miami of the United States, the International Air Transport
Association (IATA) issues the Cargo 2000 active member certification to China Southern
Airlines. China Southern Airlines becomes the first airlines in China mainland who
obtains the C2K Quality Certification and the 19th active member of Cargo 2000
organization.
Cargo 2000 (C2K) is a self-funded, IATA sponsored interest group of
major airlines and freight forwarders. With the unique goal of implementing a world-wide
quality management system for air cargo, Cargo 2000 set up 19 segments in supply chain
and aims at changing the way of air cargo industry service quality management. Cargo
2000 consists of a group of 88 major airlines, freight forwarders, ground handlers,
trucking companies and IT providers. Some famous airlines such as Lufthansa Airlines,
British Airlines, American Airlines, Cathy Pacific Airlines, Korean Airlines and
Singapore Airlines, are active members of Cargo 2000.
China Southern Airlines became the associate member of C2K in
August, 2011. By more than two years’ promotion, C2K has covered through all it’s
international cargo business. In February of 2014, China Southern Cargo C2K project was
successfully passed through the formal audit handled by IATA and also got the highest
appreciation from it’s technical experts. “I must say it is a rare occasion when I can
recall such a complete preparation.” Mr. Tom Presnail, director of Asia and The
Americas at C2K remarked after he finished the formal audit to China Southern Cargo.

Supervision, who receives the active member certification on behalf of company says,
“By means of applying C2K measurement of milestones and alert setting procedures during
the shipment’s transport, It can achieve much more transparency and visibility of air
cargo service for the customers. It can also substantially reduces time cost of
irregularities disposal, service failures management, as well as cargo tracing and
inquiry for our customers, so that China Southern can keep improving our cargo services
quality efficiently.” Mr. You also introduces that China Southern Cargo will continue
to keep improving their Cargo 2000 performance and service quality by a series of
control measures implementation, such as regular service site audit and service
evaluation of outsourcing service providers to the whole cargo system.
China Southern Cargo, as a member of SkyTeam Cargo, poses eight
B777-200Fs. It offers 13 freighter routes to the market. At present it provides
dedicated freighter service from Shanghai/Guangzhou, via Qingdao/Chongqing to Amsterdam,
Vienna, Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Vancouver. There are 12 freighter flights
outbound Guangzhou and 22 freighter flights outbound Shanghai every week.
New Customs Clearance Policy Brings Efficiency to Guangzhou Airport Logistics
On April 13th, as the first pilot, one shipment of 8 tons from Amsterdam to Guangzhou on China Southern Airlines’ CZ458 flight tested the new customs clearance procedure, which took only 3 minutes for customs release upon arrival. Compared to the traditional way, the new procedure, which allows declaration before flight arrival, has shortened the import customs clearance time by 3 hours.
The new policy of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Customs started on April 21st to accelerate the efficiency of Guangzhou airport logistics. The policy allows pre-declaration and tax paying before flight arrival into Guangzhou, once the shipment arrives, the ground handler will conduct import handling and send the tally report to Customs, if no irregularity occurs, Customs will release the cargo immediately. Next step, the new policy will also apply to export cargo. This will bring efficiency and reduce the warehousing costs.
According to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Customs, series of measures will be taken recently to accelerate the clearance efficiency, including electronic distribution of cargo from air side warehouses to agents’facilities, extend Customs working hours, improved regulations on air-truck transport, and allowing 2 times customs transfer for transshipments. Once the new policy comes out, in case of cargo trucked from Hong Kong to connect Guangzhou outbound flight, if one piece of cargo cannot be cleared through customs, only this one piece will be returned and the rest can continue the planned journey, instead of the whole shipment being returned to HKG. Besides, the Customs working hours will be extended to 09:00am-09:00pm from Monday to Friday, which is 4.5 hours longer than before. What’s more, the electronic distribution by customs for import cargo from air side warehouses to agents’ bonded warehouses will go 7*24hours.
With its headquarters in Guangzhou, China Southern Airlines will gain apparent benefits from the new customs policy. At present, China Southern has been operating 5 freighter routes from Guangzhou. Combined with its belly capacity of passenger flights, China Southern transports 180,000 tons of export and import cargo annually. “The supportive customs policy further improves the competitive advantages of our Guangzhou cargo hub”,China Southern Cargo said. Thanks to the new policy, China Southern has boosted cargo business from Amsterdam to Guangzhou. The total time from Amsterdam to Guangzhou, then via truck to Hongkong now has been shortened to less than 25 hours.
南航新开广州-维也纳-法兰克福货运航线
加大运力投入 打造欧洲精品货运航线
(通讯员 李巧林 张秀文 甘家华 李漪)中国南方航空股份有限公司(以下简称“南航”)于3月31日正式开通广州-维也纳-法兰克福-广州全货运航线,搭建了华南地区首条直达维也纳的货机运输通道。这是南航打造欧洲精品货运航线又一重要举措。
该航线由波音777货机执飞,航班号为CZ465,每周执行3班,于每周一、三、六凌晨03:50从广州起飞,当日15:35到达维也纳;装卸货物后于17:35从维也纳起飞,19:00到达法兰克福。
加大运力投入 打造欧洲精品货运航线
中德航线一直是中欧空运市场的黄金航线,其中法兰克福是欧洲重要的工商业、金融、交通枢纽和货物集散中心。去年7月,南航已开通广州至法兰克福直达航线,航班号为CZ467。从2014年夏秋航季(自3月30日起执行)开始,南航进一步加大了广州枢纽至法兰克福货运运力投入。新辟广州-维也纳-法兰克福-广州航线后,加上每周2班的广州-法兰克福-广州航线,南航从广州始发至法兰克福的全货运航线将增至5班。
此前,南航计划于今年6月开通广州-长沙-法兰克福-广州客运航线,每周执行3班,不仅提供了腹舱运力,还将进一步拓展华南地区至法兰克福的货物运输渠道,有利于对货运产品进行细分,提高服务和销售水平。
搭建华南地区首条直达东欧的货机运输通道
奥地利处于连接东西欧的十字路口,是欧洲的重要交通枢纽,维也纳国际机场也是欧洲重要的航空港之一。奥地利及周边中东欧国家,对中国的服装、家装用品、IT等产品有着较大需求。珠江三角洲、厦门及东南亚地区集中着不少上述产品的生产和加工企业。同时,奥地利及周边东欧国家通过产业转移承接了西欧国家的工业机械及配件、医药及设备、IT产品、汽配生产等产业,大量产品远销到中国。

航空广州货站的鲜花运输开始火爆,每天有大量品种多样、颜色各异的鲜花从广州出港搭乘南航航班
运往全国各地,其中2月8、9日,日均高达50吨,主要品种有玫瑰、百合、情人草等。其中,大约日
均10多吨鲜花从昆明、贵阳、海口等地而来,通过广州中转到
连云港、南京、上海等全国各大城市。
而在上海,近期每天均有近10吨鲜花
乘飞机抵达上海市场。这些鲜花货源多为玫瑰和百合,
主要来自昆明、广州、海南和贵阳。其中,昆明到上海的航班上几乎都是鲜花货源,是名符其实的鲜
花专机。

”——大熊猫宝宝“云子”(YUNZI),它出生在美国圣地亚哥动物园,这是它出生后首次回到中国
。
该大熊猫宝宝“云子”(YUNZI),今年4岁,现重84公斤,除了新鲜竹子,
“云子”非常喜欢吃香蕉和肉桂味的饼干。他的父亲“高高”(23岁)和母亲“白云”(22岁)是美
国圣地亚哥动物园的明星,深受当地美国民众的喜爱。“云子”是他们俩的第3个孩子,也是圣地亚

组,提前三天与浦东货机调度、边检、检验检疫以及客户一同商量当天卸机、消毒以及将大熊猫宝宝

Exclusive Freighter Service from South China to Vienna, Increase frequencies from Frankfurt to China
China Southern Airlines Launched Guangzhou-Vienna-Frankfurt-Guangzhou Freighter Service
China Southern Airlines, with its headquarter in Guangzhou, started Guangzhou-Vienna-Frankfurt-Guangzhou freighter service on March 31st, adding Guangzhou-Frankfurt freighter service to five per week.
The new flight CZ465 was operated by B777-200F, with three flights weekly on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. The plane takes off at 11:35 from Vienna and arrives in Frankfurt at 13:00, then departures again from Frankfurt at 15:10 to Guangzhou at 01:55 the next day (all in Vienna and Frankfurt local time).
China Southern Cargo launched Guangzhou-Frankfurt-Guangzhou direct flight (CZ467) in July 2013. With the added stopover at Vienna, China Southern will provide 450 tons freighter capacity weekly among Guangzhou, Vienna and Frankfort.
This new freighter service is also the first one from Southern China to Central and Eastern Europe. Exports to Austria are costumes, household decorations and electronics coming from Pearl River Delta, Xiamen and Southeast Asia.
The route between China and Germany is a golden route for Sino-European air freight market. The majority of import and export cargo between China and Germany is machinery, electrical appliance, and precision instrument, which is high yielded and suitable for air transportation.
In 2009, China Southern’s Shanghai-Frankfurt-Shanghai service made its debut. Since then, China Southern has gained experience of freighter operation and ground handling in Frankfort. Panda Back from U.S. to China for Spring Festival
04:18am Jan. 11, 2014, a Boeing 777 Freighter of China Southern Airlines (CZ) from Los Angeles landed smoothly in Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG). There was a special guest named Yunzi, a baby panda--the national treasure of China onboard this CZ438 flight. This was the first time Yunzi came back to China after he was born in San Diego Zoo in the United States.
Yunzi is 4 years old now with a weight of 84kg. Besides fresh bamboo, he also likes to eat banana and cookies with cinnamon flavor. His Father Gaogao (23 years old) and mother Baiyun (22 years old) are of the best favorite to the local people. Yunzi is the 3rd children of theirs, and the 5th panda borned in San Diego Zoo. He has a one and a half years old younger brother named “little gift”.
According to the agreement between China and the United States, pandas borned in U.S. should come back to China before 4 years old. Thourgh the coordination of China Southern Los Angeles Office and Shanghai Base, Yunzi departed from Los Angeles at 22:43pm on Jan. 9, 2014 and came back home safe and sound after a 14 hours flight .
To make sure the safety and health of Yunzi, a special operation team was set up in China Southern Shanghai Base. They have prepared every procedure together with the ground handler, customs, quarantine inspection and the client 3 days before flight arrival,which includs unloading, disinfection, and transportation to an isolated storage area.
After welcoming this national treasure to an isolated storage area in Pudong Cargo Terminal, the veterinary made an overall body check for him, fed him with food and water, and placed him on a pallet in the designated quarantine area. Yunzi flied to Chengdu on 16:15 in the afternoon, then to Wolong Panda Kingdom in Sichuan, where his parents had grown up.
This time, the baby panda Yunzi is lucky enough to get together with his brothers and sisters in Wolong for a most special Chinese spring festival.
CZ successfully host 2013 SkyTeam Cargo Customer Event Guangzhou
SkyTeam Cargo Customer Event Guangzhou 2013 was held successfully in Guangzhou on 18th, Oct. About 90 participants, including Seven SkyTeam member airlines,who are operating in Guangzhou, including SU, AF, CI, MU, CZ, KE and their customer representatives, had attended the Event.

China Southern Launches New Freighter Route in Hangzhou
The total transportation time from Hangzhou to LA will be about 12 hours
According to China Southern Airlines Cargo, the new route of CAN-HGH-LAX-CAN will be started on 28th September.
The new route,with the flight No. CZ469,will be operated by B777-200 Freighter, providing 90 tons capacity weekly. The flight departs Guangzhou at 0430 every Saturday and lands in Hangzhou at 0610, then leaves Hangzhou at 0730 and finally arrives in Los Angeles at 1935(all in Beijing time). The total transportation time from Hangzhou to Los Angeles will be about 12 hours.

China Southern takes delivery of two B777-200Fs
Guangzhou news: The 7th and the 8th Boeing 777-200 Freighter ordered by China Southern Airlines have been delivered in September.
It is reported that, both new aircrafts have flied from Seattle to Tianjing for Customs clearance. Among which, the seventh B777F B2041 made its maiden flight of Shanghai-Zhengzhou-Anchorage-Chicago-Shanghai on 13 September. At 09:30 a.m., APRIL 10, 2013, China Southern Airlines' CZ447 flight, a Boeing 747 freighter, successfully took off from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport and headed for Chicago. This is the second all-cargo route China Southern Airlines launched in Zhengzhou, shortly after the debut of Los Angeles-Zhengzhou-Guangzhou freighter route started on March 5th. The introduction of two international all-cargo routes within two consecutive months indicates the improving logistics environment of Zhengzhou airport and China Southern's great endeavor in the construction of the Zhengzhou Airport Economic Experimental Zone.
China Southern Airlines Cargo says, the inaugural flight was mainly loaded with Apple products. This newly-launched all-cargo flight CZ447 is operated by Boeing 747F freighters with a routing of Pudong - Zhengzhou - Chicago on every Wednesday and Saturday at the initial stage. The flight departs from Pudong at 0600 and lands in Zhengzhou at 0730, then leaves Zhengzhou at 0930 and finally arrives in Chicago at 0010 the next day (UTC+8), providing a weekly capacity of over 200 tons. LAX-CGO-CAN will be opened in March
27th Feb 2013 news, China Southern Airlines Co., Ltd. and Henan Airport Group jointly held the “China Southern Airlines (Zhengzhou) International Cargo Route and Network Products Promotion Reception, announcing to open LAX-CGO-CAN cargo route on 4th March. China Southern presents to the audience the freighter schedule, capacity, as well as its airline network and services. At the same time, Zhengzhou XinZheng Airport demonstrates its cargo facility and handling capability.
Seamless connection bridging Zhengzhou with the world
This new route LAX-CGO-CAN, will be operated by Boeing 777-200F, one the world’s most advanced freighters. This flight numbered CZ443 will take off at 15:25 from Zhengzhou and arrive Guangzhou at 17:40(local time) on every Tuesday and Friday.
China Southern thus connects Zhengzhou to its extensive network through its Guangzhou hub, which enables air cargo from Zhengzhou and the Central China area to go aboard more easily, especially to Europe, North America and Australia.
Guangzhou is the major hub of China Southern, currently CAN-TAO-LAX, CAN-CKG-AMS and CAN-AMS cargo routes are in operation. Every January, the New Zealanders are extremely busy during the fruits harvest time. According to the information from China Southern Cargo’s Auckland Office, since January of this year, nearly 100 tons New Zealand’s cherries, which are large sweet and top quality, have been exported from New Zealand to China (main destinations are Canton and Beijing) by the airplane of the China Southern. Once, it reached the highest point at 7 tons a day.
It’s generally known that, China usually imports Cherries from American, New Zealand and Chile. Every May, you can find American Cherries in China. While cherries from New Zealand and Chile occupy the market during the period of Spring Festival most years. New Zealand’s cherries are more expensive because of high quality and air freight costs. The wholesale prices of them are between 200 and 300 RMB per kilogram. Some experts thought that real fresh New Zealand’s cherries are pink red, even quite white in color.

Early in the beginning of April, China Southern Chicago Office endeavored to constant negotiations and finally won the business of transporting breeding horses back to China. On the afternoon of May 4th local time, the China Southern B747 freight left the Chicago airport as planned after full preparation and flew its way to Tianjin, with 69 breeding horses on board totaling 50 tons. The advanced B747 freighter, with several independently air-conditioned zones, is able to regulate the temperature, pressure and ventilation to suit the individual needs of the horses. The equine passengers on the charter flight were loaded into 23 specially designed horse stalls; each is set to carry three horses. In order to maximize the safety of horses, 3 equine specialists were assigned to serve as grooms along with the horses in order to carefully monitor the conditions of horses and watch closely for any erratic behavior.
China Southern Cargo had sent a team of support personnel to Tianjin airport before the arrival of the flight. Soon after the quarantine was cleared, the support team worked intensely to unload the horses at the shortest time possible just in order to ensure that the horses are as comfortable on the ground as they were in the sky.

China Southern inaugurates two freighter routes serving America and Europe
On Mar.1st and 2nd.,two B777 freigher service, one routing Guangzhou-Qingdao-Los Angeles; and one routing Guangzhou-Chongqing-Amsterdam are respectively inaugurated by China Southern Airlines. This two twice weekly service are taken off in Monday/Thursday(Guangzhou-Qingdao-Los Angeles) and Tuesday/Friday(Guangzhou-Chongqing-Amsterdam). So far China Southern offers 7 freighter flights starting from Guangzhou hub each week.
China Southern announes that in Guangzhou,China,the route serving Los Angeles is the first freighter service beginning from Guangzhou then directly to American at present.With a only 16 hours and 50 minutes trip,the flight time on this route(Guangzhou-Los Angeles) has been shortened at least 15 hours if compared to currently channels like goods are transferred via Seoul and Taipei. The cargo capacity from Guangzhou to America of China Southern has over 1000 tonnes, a 170% improvement on the previous figure.
Through this new service, China Southern Cargo is able to connect cargo network on Australia and Southeast Asia, transfering international goods to Los Angeles via Guangzhou transfer station, afterwards to Latin America and other cities in the United States via SPA and truck service.Presently,China Southern has signed SPA with American Airlines,Aero Mexico,Lan Caro and Mas Air,etc.to broaden its cargo network on Latin America, meahwhile it has the ability to ship goods to almost 80 cities of the United States with the help of truck service network.
Taking advantage of this route China Souther Cargo starts to operate the second domestic commercial stop-Qingdao. In recent years,quiet a lot of famous enterprises,such as Haier/Hisense/Foxconn/Samsung/LG,etc. has settled down in Qingdao,which fastly boosts the local economic. Local volume of domestic exports are growing, among which goods to Europe and North America comprised about 70% of that total. The new flight takes off in 23:30 at Guangzhou,after 2 hours stay in Chongqing for loading cargo, it takes off again from Chongqing and arrives in Amsterdam on 14:30.(Above is Beijing time).

The charter from Chicago to Tianjin which is dated May 5th has led China Southern Cargo into a brand new field of delivery—horse transportation.
Early in the beginning of April, China Southern Chicago Office endeavored to constant negotiations and finally won the business of transporting breeding horses back to China. Soon after the business was confirmed, China Southern Cargo began the route mapping, flight application and other relevant arrangements.
On the afternoon of May 4th local time, the China Southern B747 freight left the Chicago airport as planned after full preparation and flew its way to Tianjin, with 69 breeding horses on board totaling 50 tons. The advanced B747 freighter, with several independently air-conditioned zones, is able to regulate the temperature, pressure and ventilation to suit the individual needs of the horses. The equine passengers on the charter flight were loaded into 23 specially designed horse stalls; each is set to carry three horses. In order to maximize the safety of horses, 3 equine specialists were assigned to serve as grooms along with the horses in order to carefully monitor the conditions of horses and watch closely for any erratic behavior.
China Southern Cargo had sent a team of support personnel to Tianjin airport before the arrival of the flight. Soon after the quarantine was cleared, the support team worked intensely to unload the horses at the shortest time possible just in order to ensure that the horses are as comfortable on the ground as they were in the sky.
Horses are live animals with high value-added, and the delivery of horses requires high standard of transportation techniques and conditions. China Southern Cargo successfully makes the delivery come true, which fully demonstrates its high level of transportation skills and professional operation experience in live animals transportation. China Southern inaugurates two freighter routes serving America and Europe
On Mar.1st and 2nd.,two B777 freigher service, one routing Guangzhou-Qingdao-Los Angeles; and one routing Guangzhou-Chongqing-Amsterdam are respectively inaugurated by China Southern Airlines. This two twice weekly service are taken off in Monday/Thursday(Guangzhou-Qingdao-Los Angeles) and Tuesday/Friday(Guangzhou-Chongqing-Amsterdam). So far China Southern offers 7 freighter flights starting from Guangzhou hub each week.
China Southern announes that in Guangzhou,China,the route serving Los Angeles is the first freighter service beginning from Guangzhou then directly to American at present.With a only 16 hours and 50 minutes trip,the flight time on this route(Guangzhou-Los Angeles) has been shortened at least 15 hours if compared to currently channels like goods are transferred via Seoul and Taipei. The cargo capacity from Guangzhou to America of China Southern has over 1000 tonnes, a 170% improvement on the previous figure.
Through this new service, China Southern Cargo is able to connect cargo network on Australia and Southeast Asia, transfering international goods to Los Angeles via Guangzhou transfer station, afterwards to Latin America and other cities in the United States via SPA and truck service.Presently,China Southern has signed SPA with American Airlines,Aero Mexico,Lan Caro and Mas Air,etc.to broaden its cargo network on Latin America, meahwhile it has the ability to ship goods to almost 80 cities of the United States with the help of truck service network.
Taking advantage of this route China Souther Cargo starts to operate the second domestic commercial stop-Qingdao. In recent years,quiet a lot of famous enterprises,such as Haier/Hisense/Foxconn/Samsung/LG,etc. has settled down in Qingdao,which fastly boosts the local economic. Local volume of domestic exports are growing, among which goods to Europe and North America comprised about 70% of that total. Goods serviced by this flight can arrive to America from Qingdao in less than 12 hours.
To promote new service,China Southern held two introducing meeting in Hongkong and Qingdao in Febuary and the third one held in Los Angeles is just around the corner in March.
On 2nd.Mar, China Southern launched international freigher service Guangzhou-Chongqing-Amerstan, which actually is adding a commercial spot Chongqing basing on the original service Guangzhou-Amsterdam.In this case, freighter service from Guangzhou to Amsterdam is increased to 5 flights(Mon/Tue/Thur/Fri/Sat)per week while Tuesday and Friday has a stopover on Chongqing. The new flight takes off in 23:30 at Guangzhou,after 2 hours stay in Chongqing for loading cargo, it takes off again from Chongqing and arrives in Amsterdam on 14:30.(Above is Beijing time).

On Sep.5th, China Southern Airlines was awarded as Combination Carrier of the Year in 2012 Payload Asia Awards, recorded as the only airlines in Mainland China to obtain this year’s awards from Payload Asia, which is the official magazine of the Federation of Asia-Pacific Air Cargo Associations (FAPAA).
